Sawadee ka! Sabaidee mai?

I MISS THAILAND ALR. :'( Although of course I have been missing my bed, my TV, my computer... But it's been an amazing and meaningful experience. I miss the kids so, so much. They are super adorable and cute! It's so heartwarming when they come up to hug you or hold your hand and kiss you on the cheek, or write 'I Love You' notes to you. RAH. The kids are just so lovely. :D It was so much fun piggybacking them and playing and singing with the kids. Seeing the smiles on their faces was good enough.

However when we went to visit the tsunami sites and the morgue where they stored all the yet to be identified dead bodies in refrigerated containers, it just felt so sad. That after so many years there are still so many bodies yet to be properly buried and identified by their relatives. Imagine the emotional pain the relatives have to go through.

We also did communal work like painting boats, varnishing chairs for the kids and did fishing traps.. It felt good doing something constructive for once. :P Got to know the interactors much better too... thank God for Vera my bus seat, eating, walking partner. :) And Samantha our dear room-mate lol. We also drank, played cards late into the night, had a night walk through the ghost town, chilled at the cafe near our hotel while watching soccer.. It was an interesting experience. And the beaches in Thailand are amazing. The sand is so soft, the sky seems joined with the never-ending Indian ocean, and the view of the clouds is fantastic.

Rah, words cannot describe this enough. Will upload pictures soon. But I'm so freaking tired now 'cause I've just came back from the airport. And Vera, please take care of yourself and get well soooooon! :) Really thank God for providing for us throughout the whole trip and that we're all home safe and sound!

It's back to reality again. :( CTs!!!! Urgh.

EDIT: ok, photos are up on my friendster account! :)

All it took was a smile.
